Window Into The Soul

Medium: Free Hand in Oil Paints
Time Taken: 8 hours over time (too long for this)
Date of Creation: 6/30/06
Comments: This is a painting I did a long time ago. I'm proud of it but It like most of my other art pieces didn't live up to my expectations.

UPDATE: Original piece sold for 2984$ on Ebay ... will probably sell others from the collection later in the year. :) Will try to get pictures up soon.

I'm currently taking requests for custom art projects, let me know what you want done. Contact me if your interested in having some abstract art or artwork done for your website etc. Let me know in the comments or note me.

P.S. I'm really sorry about the quality of my artwork's images, will re upload with better quality images sometime later, scanner not big enough to scan canvases and sketch book work and I'm no photographer.

I favs what I likes so, your welcome :) My exra fav was the sun. It's pratically seamless and you had to go along each edge, I love the seam work though on the outside it must have been a pain in the butt to do but it was worth it.
:iconerin88:
I have the bad habit of going too closely to the edge of the felt so many times I almost tore right through XD. I'm glad you think it looks so nice <3.

I love that effect though, it makes it look awesome when you go that close to the edge. Like it's barely there. If you used a different fabric would it still do that..or would it go right through regardless?
:iconerin88:
I think it's just the nature of felt, how porous it is. I think it would hold better with, say, cotton. I think silk would be a bad idea though XD. I've heard of seam puckering disasters at least in costumes.
